VOLT LICK
Stay up.
The brief
A citrus energy drink sold out of a cargo van to people getting off third shift. Not a gym drink. Not a rave drink. Dez mixes it. The lot at 6 a.m. is the store.
What it had to live on
A can that survives ice water. A van door you can read at 15 feet. A sticker they take off the cooler. Wordmark. No bolt.
Who it's for
Freezer crew. They already drink Monster at work. They switch if it is there, citrus, and not another claw-can.
What the brief told the generator to feel
A drink that looks cheap-on-purpose and still drinkable. Gas-station cooler at 5:40. Construction lunchbox energy. Wet-asphalt silver and a mean orange that looks like a crushed clementine, not a sunset.
What the generator had to refuse
The constraints
Energy-drink generators default to a claw, a bolt, or a gym stack. The brief forbade a bolt. If this run looks like Monster, freezer crew walks past it. If it looks like a Behance van wrap, they do not trust Dez.
One brief, three generations. Loud: highway yellow split — the chance. Quiet: cream paper, still a work drink. Middle: wet asphalt and crushed clementine, because Stay up. is his line and the van is the store. Middle locked.
Three generations
Same drink. Three mornings. The generator always returns loud, middle, and quiet. You tap the one that would sell at 6 a.m.
Loud generation

Hot — highway yellow. Close second.
The brief asked for cheap-on-purpose and mean. Hot pushed that into a yellow/black split like a highway sign, on a wet can and a dirty van — the surfaces in the brief. Too sports-rail if it is the only morning. Extreme is supposed to overshoot. It did.
This generation locked

Middle — the lot. The orange one.
Brush stack because the name had to be the picture. Stay up. in crushed clementine because that line is his. Can in the cooler, name painted on the van, sticker they take home — every surface the brief named, in one generation.
Quiet generation

Mild — cream. Still a work drink.
Quiet letters, silent chips, can, plate, van. The generator followed drinkable and cheap-on-purpose without the mean. Honest. Too soft for a 6 a.m. lot if it is the only Look.
Why this generation locked
The van locked because the lot is the store.
VOLT over LICK, same weight. Stay up. under it, his line, orange. No bolt. No second slogan. The generator did not invent a line. Cover the letters and you still have asphalt, ice, and clementine — that is how you know the run hit the brief.
The export
Same file. Every surface.
Generated onto the real stuff
The brief named the objects. The run put the lock there.
The brush letters are the mark. Kit type is a condensed black and a grotesque for body. Stay up. stays orange under the name. Do not invent a second line.
Your turn
Three generations. You tap one. Still no call.
