What the brief told the generator to feel
Dirty tape pink. Bruised knuckle. Black. Gym-floor wood. Mean, fun, loud.
What the generator had to refuse
The constraints
Derby generators default to a Facebook fist, Barbie, a bow, or a recolored men’s hockey template. She already hates the fist. Loud still has to work in a gym without becoming a wellness brand.
The brief said mean, fun, loud, and merch off a folding table. So the generator ran three gyms. Loud: pink on black from the bleachers. Quiet: rec-afternoon wood. Middle: PINK over KNUCKLE on tape, because tape is already in the room and a fist is not. The table generation locked — that is how the rink gets paid.

The adjectives were mean and loud. Hot pushed that into huge pink letters on black, bout-night voltage. Almost a football jersey if you squint. The energy is right. The cut is the miss. Extreme is supposed to overshoot. It did.
This generation locked
Middle generation — the gym table.
The brief named a jersey, a helmet, a banner, and a folding table. The generator put the stack on all four, with dirty athletic tape as the stamp instead of a fist. That is the run reading the surfaces, not inventing a girl-gang emblem.
Quiet generation
Quiet generation — rec afternoon.
Wood floor, tape rolls, quieter pink. The generator followed practice-day honesty. Too soft if it is the only night. Quiet exists to prove the brief can be gentle. It cannot be the only file they leave with.
